B: No, thanks. I’m supposed to be slimming.1
A: Can’t I tempt you?1
B: Well, maybe I could manage a very small piece.1

A: Wouldn’t you like to finish up the omelette?1
B: No, really, thank you. I just couldn’t eat anymore.1
A: Come on now. Surely you can manage it.1
B: No, thank you, really. I must have put on pounds as it is.1

A: Another piece of meat pie?1
B: No, thanks, really. I’m on a diet.1
A: Please do. You’ve hardly eaten anything.1
B: It’s delicious, but I don’t think I ought to.1
